"Our Story"
Their story is that of Ancient Origin.
Mythical Dragons born from the debris of star dust have the difficult task
of rebuilding what we know as the Universe.
The first Elros has been said to come from a star that is not known to the inhabitants
of Gaea. This star is called The Luminous Accolade. For those not knowing the meaning,
accolade is a privilege granted; an honour if you will.
This first Elros, named Fortune, had no idea what she was or her purpose.
Her design confused her, the sounds she resonated frightened her, and most of all, the dark
space in which she was released, terrified her.
Although she was quivering with fear, there was a force pulling her towards the dark space.
What was it? What was making her gravitate towards what she thought was dangerous?
Unable to fight it, Fortune soared away from her birth place and into the endless space, searching for what was
unknown to her. She travelled endlessly, passing bright and new stars alike, rocks, planets, ships, and unknown
things that cannot be explained. The time travelled was boundless, for only Gaea is bound by time.
Fortune had come to an area filled with scattered, sparkling star dust. Instincts brought her towards the substance
and she flew through it, the iridescent dust collecting in her massive purple tail. The more it collected, the more she
was able to see the past mysteries of the star as if it were a movie, running in her own mind. What she envisioned was a nightmare.
Nothing but invasion, manipulation, indoctrination, brainwashing it was all she could view. Frantically, Fortune looked
for the remaining star dust that was good. Dust that had shown evidence this place could not possibly be void of life.
As more dust collected, the worst things got, the more intense the negativity became. Her body shook, she began to
pant with distress, and her ears dropped as she began to lose hope.
As she slowed to a stop, a softer gathering of star dust enveloped her and the memories changed from
a nightmare to a sweet dream. She was shown the beauty of nature for the first time; animals, skies, flora and fauna, food,
and so many other amazing things! This excited her and filled her with new hope. Fortune then looked around her, realizing that
there remained no visionary stardust. What happened to the rest? She needs them all in order to save this planet and to rebuild
it better than it was before. Could she do this on her own? This could not be! The "born space" that she was born into
is much too vast for her alone to scope and mend. Who said that she was the only one to be born from her star...?
But before Fortune began her quest of knowledge, a tragedy came into play. A very bright star shot from across the galaxies and found a place directly on Fortune's horn, corrupting its purple hue with a pure eminent white one. Stardust was forced from her fur resulting in the loss of all memories she had of her birth and findings.
Her body was consumed with a pure white light for a fleeting moment before she vanished.
Her whereabouts are unknown, but what remained of her were the memories she collected as well as her own in a form
of stardust, but not all hope was lost. Amongst the stardust were several small eggs in the familiar shape of the North Star...

Is That It...?
A vague story told by elder Elros to the newer generations is very much filled with holes and much of it is lost.
Very rarely does an Elros find stardust that Fortune had been searching for. It is said that if it is found, the memory returns to Fortune regardless of how near or far she may be. Due to her being the first Elros, she is connected to all of them and has all of their memories as well as the memories of stardust that they carry. It is told that great things will happen once Fortune's memories are pieced back together. All Elros will be able to see Fortune, and Fortune herself will break out of her dark hold from what are known as the "foe" and defeat it with her knowledge collected from her kin. |
